If the dishwasher of the Electrolux manufacturer has completed the washing but does not shut down, a detailed study of the question is vital.
The sources for such manifestation of the technology can be very different:
- The control unit of the Electrolux appliance has failed. Most likely, information is not delivered from the control card to the water drain system and other ones, which leads to continuous operation. The solution is to repair the control module or replace it with a new one.
- If the wash cycle has come to an end, but the pump continues to work, so this can indicate a water leakage from the dishwasher. Disconnect it from the mains and inspect the floor for puddles.
- If a power failure occurred during operation, it is likely that the appliance is not able to automatically switch the program, so it operates continuously in the same mode. To eliminate the defect, remove the mains plug from the electricity and after a few minutes turn it on again.
An independent replacement or repair of the electronic module can lead to permanent failure and more expensive repairs.
